Companies without a HR department or a dedicated HR staff may require more intensive guidance and advice in customising the frameworks and templates in the HR Capability Toolkit modules to their needs and rolling out a structured HR management system in their organisations. To encourage Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to upgrade their HR Capabilities, there are government assistance schemes available.
Your business qualifies as long as:
is physically present and registered in Singapore; and
30% – 100% of your shareholding is local; and
you have 0 – 200 employees* or your annual turnover is not more than S$100 million*
* Computed on a group basis, i.e. checking all levels up for corporate shareholders holding more than 50% of the total shareholding in your company and any subsequent corporate parent, and all levels down where your company owns more than 50% of shareholding in a subsidiary company.
